Background- Born a prince of Dark Tranquility, Koji grew up spoiled and due to his daemon heritage, Koji killed and tortured the minions in his kingdom. After making a deal to allow Demon Hell to do whatever he wanted with him, Koji suffered for a bit then decided to end it as he couldn't take the training. He died when he stabbed himself with his father's sword. At the moment of death the daemon side in Koji woke with a rage and his soul spilt into two. The newly awakened Daemon went to hell and stayed there for about two months serving as one of Ahaz's minions. However the other side of the soul stayed with the body with the will to continue, but couldn't.
When Koji's body was delivered to Dark Tranquility the Daemon found that it could escape and broke through the thin barrier that seperated Ahaz's domian from Dark Tranquility. Two months later, the two reunited and brought the body back to life, but the Daemon had the control as it remebered it's time in hell and was starved. A nearby village was destroyed aa it's people were killed as the newborn Vampyre fed. A nearby Vampyre Court noticed that there was another one of them and sought out the ravenous creature. They caught Koji and kept him for about eight years teaching him what he needed to know. After that he was allowed to leave as he wanted and he went back to his home, but he would have a hundred years to do as he wanted- to a point. A Elder Vampyre came back with Koji and was only there to teach Koji how to handle being a Vampyre.
