The vanished

Turras
Ami ran to the balcony of her room
and looked down onto the city her father ruled.
It was a grand place and she had always loved it.
She noticed that her father and his woman were
down in the gardens playing as if they were children
themselves. She smiled as she saw her brother, only
just turned three today was chasing them
and it was a game of tag. She laughed and
called out to Koji, getting his attention and
pointing to her father and his woman.

Koji grinned in a way that only a child would
and ran to where Ami was pointing to.
His little stubby legs didn't work for him very well,
so he ran on all four of his paws.
His tail gave away his position and his parents
knew that he was coming to get them.
Turras snickered and Tigeras waited for
her son to prance around the corner.

Ami watched as Koji ran leaping and pouncing
towards his parents. She saw a form from the
corner of her eye and she looked. It was Kotelinie,
her uncle only by marriage. She cared very little
for him, yet he was smarter then her. She knew
better than to dismiss him, she could use him,
learn from what he had to offer. She spent the
time that he was around her listening to him.
She watched him, not speaking a word, when
she felt a sharp ripple through the air.
She jerked her head and looked at her father.

Turras had lost all notions of playing.
He had felt the same ripple as Ami.
He looked at his daughter, and saw that
she understood that only they felt it.
Kotie and the other could not.
Turras looked at Tigeras and smiled,
as he pushed the worry away.
He noticed that Koji was jst behind
the corner and about to pounce whan
he felt the ripple again, this time
accompined by a white flash.

Ami was looking straight at her father
when the white flash made her turn away.
When she looked back, her father and
his woman were gone. She gasped, and
ran from the balcony,
heading for that spot her father was at.


Koji had leaped and landed hard into
the dirt as he expected the soft furriness
of his mother. He sat down and
started crying, hoping that his mother
would come running.

Kotelinie
Kotelinie also better known as Kotie
as he wants to be called, in family he
is called uncle Kotie, even he doesn’t
really want to be called uncle, because its
not really fitting that to him.
He got the title of uncle without asking for it.
By the marriage of his sister Tigeras
to Turras, you get that title,
when your sister gets a child,
or you had all a child from a previous marriage.
What is in this case both,
Turras had all child from a previous one
and now also one from this one.
Well you can’t stop that,
for getting that title do you?
But Kotie has one more title
and he uses that one in his job
as a Starfleet officer.
There he is a Vice Admiral
and commanding a Starship
called USS Enterprise.
That ship is a Sovereign class Starship
and its one of the latest ships in Starfleet.
But I am getting now ahead
of myself with telling about my job.

Kotie was watching the game play
of tag going on, and had planned
to join the game a bit later,
now he wanted to let them having the fun
and he just watching it,
smiling and chuckling about how
much fun they have in the game
he loved to see that.
When he head the voice of Ami
he looked up to the balcony and
there he saw her and waved his
hand to her for a friendly greeting.

Kotie enjoys it and likes it when he
can learn someone something about
how it works. His door is always open,
so long it doesn’t get knocked off from
his hinges, what happened three years
ago when Koji came from the future to
here, by an accident of using his
transporter time machine.
But well it happened
and you can’t turn it back.
How well its still possible that it
happens again. You can’t rule
out time travel can you?

When Turras and Ami felt for the
first time the sharp ripple, he was
watching the final approach from
Koji to pounce on them.
Then he saw suddenly a white flash
of light on the place where Tigeras
and Turras where standing.
The first moment when that happened
he thought of that they wanted to
disappear from that place to reappear
on the other place. To tease Koji.
But the white flash, could also be that
someone was let them disappear to a
other location, like what Q can do, by
snapping his fingers and something happened.

Kotie got a bit scared from the
suddenly white flash and saw that
Koji was going to land hard in the dirt,
he closed his eyes for a moment
and said “AUTS!, that gotta hurt.”
He opened them and saw that he
was landed hard and crying.
Getting up from his sitting position,
he ran to Koji to comfort him from the hard fall,
by stroking his hair on his head.
He whispered into Koji ear, “are you alright Koji?
Did you hurt yourself hard?”
He looked then up to see that Ami
stood on in the spot where her father
and Tigeras where playing a few minutes ago.
Kotie said to her, “Ami, I don’t know what
just happened here, but I saw that you felt
something, and the rest nothing.
Do you have any idea what it is??”

Turras
Koji sniffed and nodded.
He snuggled into his uncle's arms
and watched Ami.
The girl checked out the area a
bit more, then looked at the man.
She sighed and looked at him oddly.
She folded her arms and shook her head.
"I don't know," She answered.
"I can't explain it, but I did feel something, yet it's gone now."
Ami blinked and looked at Kotie,
she didn't knew what to do or think,
and she hoped that her Father wasn't gone.
Two figures appeared, walking out
from the building.
One was a teenaged guy, with silver hair.
His hair looked as if it was hacked with a pair
of shears and some of his hair fell into
his face partcially hiding his eyes.
He looked like a street punk, ragged,
yet he also gave off a aura of power.
The girl beside him had brown hair and brown eyes.
She looked a little more healthy then
the guy did and more innocent.
She pranced around him and looked at everyone.
Her eyes sparkled and
she brushed the hair out of his face.
He looked at Ami, who walked up to
him and stared at him.
He stared back with pale moon like eyes,
and Ami snapped her fingers at him.
She turned on her heel and walked out,
heading to her room.
The girl looked at Kotie and waved sightly at Koji.

Kotelinie
Kotie cuddled Koji and rubbed his hands
on his back for a few moments, then
he went to check carefully his body
for where it hurts and to see if he
had broken something.
He listened also to what Ami had
to say and thought, about what to say.
He sighed “Well lets hope they come back soon,
maybe that Q is visiting us?
He has that kind of power to let disappear
suddenly a person.
I thought of him when I saw that white flash.”

When two figures walked out from the
house Kotie looked at them while he
had a hand around Koji’s shoulder.
He felt that the boy carries a kind
of power with him that he can use wrong.
The girl on the other hand doesn’t feel
and also seem to carry that kind of power.
Watching what Ami did, he thought
that it was a bad idea, and it could
make the boy angry, but somehow it
seemed also to be that if she knew that
the boy did something and wanted to
show to him that she is
angry about it for what he did.

Noticing that the girl waved to Koji
he looked to him and with a question
look if he knew that girl,
and said to Koji “Koji do you know her?”
Then looking back to them he got up
and walked slowly and carefully to them,
showing that he doesn’t want to harm then,
he spoke to them. “Greetings, I am Koteline,
but everyone calls me Kotie. And you two are?”

Turras
Koji shook his head,
and buried his face into Kotie's fur.
The girl hopped up to him and waved agian.
"We are Aravis," She told him,
then she looked at her brother.
It was like something was connecting them
and she looked back at Kotie frowning.
She put her hands into her pockets and
went to stand besides the boy.
The guy stared at Kotie,
still not saying a word, but just standing there.

Kotelinie
Kotie knew that he misses his mother,
and that she was not here right now to
take care of her son. He was self also
missing his sister a bit, but he hopes
that where Tigeras and Turras are, that
they are save and sound.
“Its all coming alright Koji,
I am going to make sure
to get your parents back”
he said to him and gave a kiss on his head.
Looking at the girl and he waved back to her.
“Nice to meet you two Aravis.
What can I do for you two?”

Turras
The girl looked at the guy
and then stepped forward.
"We need a place to stay and
materials to build a machine.
We would like it very much-"
She jerked her head to the guy
and quickly took a step back.
The guy seemed to look through
Kotie now as he spoke.
"I am Selleck and this is Tasania.
We are Aravis, and I need supplies.
I also need a place to rest, for I am tired."

Kotelinie
The Feline who cuddled Koji to comfort him,
looked at the girl who spoke and listened
to her. When she said that they need
materials to built a machine,
he was getting curious about what
for machine she was talking about.
But Kotie was also curious
from where the two came from.

They can get a place to stay,
but the materials to make a machine,
they can get it if Kotie knows what for
kind of machine they are going to built.
If it is going to be a kind weapon,
then they don’t get it.
Because he has also to follow Federation protocols,
even we are not on a place that is
from the Federation, but the materials
that they are going to use are from the Federation.

Listening to the boy who calls himself Selleck,
and nodded in understanding.
“It’s an pleasure to meet you Selleck and Tasania.
I am Kotie and this is my nephew Koji”
He said to them and pointed to the kid who
has buried his face into his fur and sniffed.
Then moved his hand towards them in
mention for a handshake. “Well I know that
That Turras has a few spare rooms, so you
can stay here and rest.”
He got up, holding Koji against him
and walked to the door to enter the house.
“So where are you coming from Selleck and Tasani?”
he said to them curiously.

Turras
Tasani smiled and looked at Selleck,
then back at Kotie.
"We are from another place," she answered.
"And we thank you for a place to stay.
We came here to visit for a bit and rest.
Then we would go."
Selleck walked on.
He appeared to be ignoring them.
He walked inside the building, looking at everything.

Kotelinie
He smiled to them and listened to
what she had to say. Kotie found all
soon that Tasani is a friendly and kind person,
but he couldn’t say that of Selleck.
For him is Selleck more of a demanding type,
and that he don’t really like that,
but he doesn’t want make a enemy
with him, because he can feel that
he has a kind of power that is maybe
stronger then that of Q.
He looked to Tasani, “Can you tell me
something more of that place?” he asked to her.
“Your welcome, and it is a pleasure to
do give you a place for staying.
But what I have also understood that
you need materials to built a machine.
My I know what for kind of machine?”
Kotie walked a bit faster to get a head
of Selleck and said to him.
“Selleck, would you please not walk
ahead of me? Or else you don’t know
where your room is.”
He opens a door and then they are
walking though a corridor, on the left
and right you could see nameplates
for who is staying in which room.
They also passed his own room
and around the next corner they are at
there room. He opened the door and
made a hand gesture and saying
“Here are your rooms, please enter.
If you need something you can ask it to me.”

Turras
Tasani nodded eagerly.
"Let's see where we came from there
are very fast ships and they are alive.
And they can also breed." She noticed
that Kotie ran up to her brother and she blinked.
Selleck stopped for a moment and allowed
Kotie to take the lead.
He sensed his sister behind him
and they both followed Kotie.
When they got to the room,
Selleck went inside, leaving
Tasani to answer any questions.
She smiled agian and looked at
Kotie, then at Koji, whom had wiggled
out of his uncle's grasp and was now
hopping around the two.
Tasani looked back at Kotie and
clapped her hands together.
"We need the supplies to create
a way to get back to or ship," She said.
"We thank you most very much."

Kotelinie
He listened to what Tasani had to
say and smiled, he could remember
that he met a few starships that are
alive, but non of them could breed.
Even he heard a story from one of
them that there are kinds of them that
can breed, or even repair themselves,
but he have never met them,
but he wanted to meet them,
only something else came up that was
important to do for his job in Starfleet.
“Well Tasani, I can recall that I met a
few talking starships in the Beta , but more not.
If you want I can name them if you want.” He said to her.
Kotie saw that Selleck walked in to the room
and didn’t said a thing, maybe that he
had something on his mind, that was
bothering him. He smiled to her and
noticed that Koji had enough of it to
carried and was wriggling to get on his
paws, so he let him down and looked
at him while he was hopping around Tasani and Kotie.
Listening why they need the supplies
he wanted to know where there ship is then
“Your very welcome.” He bowed to her lightly
“So where is your ship then?
If it is in orbit around here I can
take you to there.” He said and took
a small pause, then continued
“I have here a transporter so I can
beam you to your ship. Or I fly you to your
ship with my own Starship.”

Turras
Tasani looked at her brother,
who was now sleeping.
"Um...our ship is..not in this time..."
She said. "So you can't take us."
She looked at Koji who ran off somewhere.

Kotelinie
Kotie looked also at her brother, then back Tasani, “Hmm… Well then it is getting hard.. “ He replied to her and wanted to ask more questions he had, but saw that her brother was asleep and wanted to let her rest as well. “Well you know what. Take a rest and I let you know when dinner is ready. We can then talk further. And after dinner I shall show you my workplace for where you can built the time machine.” Seeing in the corner of his eye that Koji ran off to somewhere in the house, he let him go. “So if you want to excuse me I have to fetch dinner.” He said to her and walked to the kitchen to see start with the dinner.

Turras
She nodded and went into the room with her twin. She sat on the edge of the bed and laid back. Tasani stared at the ceiling and noticed that it was made fron wood and not the usual gray metal that she was so used to seeing. She sighed and knew that Selleck was doing what he thought was best. But it was nicer, before the tests.
She closed her eyes and soon she was sleeping also.

Koji ran to the kitchen and started climbing up to the counter. He succeded and started trying to open a door to one of the high cabinets. He wanted a snack and he understood that Unca Kotie was busy. He saw his Unca walk into the Kitchen and Koji smiled and pointed to the door.

Kotelinie
He was walking towards the kitchen and wondered where Koji was, but there is something strange about the Aravis, only he can’t find out what it is. Hard op thinking he said “When Turras and Tigeras disappeared, they came walking out he building. So has those two something to do with the disappearing of Tigeras and Turras, or was there a anomaly that did it? And if so where are they now? Are they still in this time and on this planet? Or are they switched from places… so many questions and possibilities of where Turras and Tigeras can be…” He sighed and hoped that they are safe and well.

Entering the door to the kitchen he saw that Koji had climbed onto the counter and pointed to the door of one of the cabinets. Uncle Kotie chuckled, knowing that his parents kept there his favorite snacks. He walked over to him, caressed his head and smiled, “So my little nephew wants a snack, right?” he said and opened the cabinet and grabbed a snack out of it and give it to him. “here you go my little friend, enjoy it. But what shall we eat for tonight? You may say it Koji”

Turras
Koji opened his snack, after his uncle gave it to him and sat on the counter to eat it. He looked at his uncle and grinned. A thought came to his mind, his favorite food. His little tail twitched and Ami walked into the kitchen. Koji hopped off the counter and ran over to her and tugged on her sleeve, then ran back over to his uncle. "Pancakes!!" He squealed. "Pancakes and sorup." (Syrup)

Kotelinie
Looking at him, when he opened the snack and sat on the counter, chuckled at him when he grinned. Waiting for a reply from Koji, seeing that his little tail twitched while he was thinking about what to eat for supper. His eyes followed him when he jumped off from the counter, running over to Ami who walked into the kitchen. “hey Ami, and how are you doing?” he said to her.
Hearing the squeal for pancakes coming from next to him, Kotie smiled and chuckled, letting his tail swinging to the left and right happily. “Alright then.” Looking at Ami he asked to her “Are you agreeing with him, that we eat pancakes with syrup for tonight??”

Turras
Ami rolled her eyes and looked at her step-uncle. She sighed as she was sick of pancakes. She nodded not allowing herself to give away what she knew and what she had discovered. It was not for Kotie or her little brother to know. She forced a smile, as she got the odd feeling that it would be her last for a while. Ami got all the ingredients and set them in front of Kotie. Then she left the room as silently as she had came.
Koji pranced around, oblivious to all in the room, pretending that he was after something. He noticed that Ami had left and he looked at Kotie, his face questioning.

Kotelinie
On the look of her face Kotie noticed that she didn’t really wanted to eat the pancakes, but something else, but also she didn’t wanted to ruin the mood for both Koji and her step-uncle to tell it. He thanked her for placing the ingredients on the counter so that he can start with it. But didn’t got a response back, as she walked quietly back out of the kitchen and looked at Kojo who looked at him a questioning look.
Kotie hold his shoulders up and also his hands, “ I don’t know it Koji…. But there is something wrong… I can feel it in the air and also with the suddenly disappearance of your parents and the appearance of Tasani and Selleck. I am not comfortable with it, what about you?”
He then putted the pancake mix in a bowl and putted water in it, instead off milk, but well they taste still like pancakes. “Koji do you want to stir it?”

Turras
Koji hopped over to his Uncle and climbed up the chair. He got the spoon and started stirring the mix, also blowing rasberries as he did so. A minute later he banged the spoon on the bowl, announcing that he was done stirring it and noticed that a demon minion had appeared next to him. Koji stared at the little creature and wondered where it came from. It slunk back into the shadows as it saw that it was not needed. Koji then looked back at his Uncle.

Kotelinie
In the mean time Kotie had grabbed a few apples and washed them, peeled then and made slices for it to mix them later with the pancake mix so that you have pancakes with apple. He grabbed from the fridge a few slices of ham, to put them also through it.
Hearing that Koji was done stirring, by banging the spoon on the bowl, he placed a pan on the gas cooker and thanked Koji with stirring it. Uncle Kotie didn’t noticed the minion at all while he made the final preparations for the baking. He placed two plates on the counter and close to the cooker, so that when he is done with cooking a pancake he can place it on there. Taking the bowl, placing it closer to the cooker he gave Koji a slice of apple, so that he can eat on it.
He Turned on the gas and light it with a special lighter for it, putted a bit of oil in it, so that that the mixture is not going to stick to the bottom of he pan. Pouring a bit of the mixture into the pan he let it bake, then used a other spoon to make the pancake lose from the pan and this one was not so good and turned it with the spoon.
He knew that the first one is always a hard one and that he rest shall get better. Letting the other side backing too, and when that one is done he placed it on the place, then filled the pan with mixture and also with apple. Did did the same as the other one letting it bake a bit then turning it around, letting that side baking. Then placed it on the other place. So it continued, and changed with placing ham, and also sometimes with nothing.

Turras
Koji watched his as he did everything. He wondered what his uncle was doing with apples. The little gut was impressed with how easy his uncle made the pancakes. He knew not to touch, besides Koji knew what hot did. It burned. After his Uncle was done Koji pulled the chair over to the counter and opened a cabinate that he was able to get into and got the syrup. He then opened a dwarwer and pulled out two forks. He offered one of the forks to his Uncle. He heard something and he looked to see the guy standing at the doorway. Selleck was awake.

Kotelinie
Almost finished with the last pancakes and saw that our Koji was impressed about how he was making the pancakes and smiled to him. When he was done he turned off the gas and placed the bowl in the sink, filling it a bit with water so that, it is lesser work with the dishes. Seeing that Koji moved over to the other side of the counter to get the syrup and the forks. Getting a fork offered from him and took it from him, he heard the same thing and looked behind him and there he saw Selleck standing in the opening from the kitchen. And got a kind of shivering running over him, when he stood there. He didn’t want to come over to him as the he doesn’t like him, and he didn’t hated him at all, but the boy has something that makes him uncomfortable “Hey Selleck, you are right on time for pancakes. Just made them a few minutes ago. “ He said to him friendly “you can tell to your sister, that dinner is ready.”
Kotie walked over to the cabinet and pulled out two plates and placed the different kinds of pancakes for Selleck and Tasani.

Turras
Koji watched Selleck go over to a plate, not saying a word. "If she's hungry," Selleck said. "She'll come." Koji hid behind his uncle's legs as he watched the teen.
Tasani came in, after finding that her brother was gone. She saw Selleck sitting in fround of a plate and he saw that a plate was out for her. She went over to her plate and dove in. She said something on the lines of, yum, good, but it was muffled by the food in her mouth. Koji crawled into a chair and pushed the syrup towards Tasani and smiled at her.

Kotelinie
Seeing that Koji is afraid of Selleck, just like how his uncle is but he doesn’t show it to him, “Ah okay then, and did you slept well?” he said for trying to start a conversation with him. Kotie placed his tail over the shoulder of Koji, so to let him know that he cares for him.
When Tasani entered the kitchen also saw that Selleck was all sitting and eating the pancakes. Walked over to her plate and eat also eating from it. Hearing muffled from her that she likes it, Kotie smiled to her and said that it is called pancakes, for what she is eating now. Feeling that that Koji moved from behind him and towards Tasani he let his tail off his shoulder. Kotie walked to his plate and rolled a pancake up and toke a bite out of it, munching on it, while he saw that Koji offered the syrup to her and smiled.

Turras
Selleck looked at Kotie, but didn't say anything.
However Tasani, swallowed her food and nodded.
"The food is very good," She answered.
She looked at her twin, then back at Kotie.
"We're so used to cold, metal tasting food
that Selleck just doesn't know what to say.
But it's very, very good."
Selleck nodded at what she said,
and took the syrup from Koji,
who jerked his hand back and hid
behind his uncle agian.
Selleck looked at the kid, for a moment,
then went back to his eating.
After a few minutes, Selleck looked at Kotie.
"Do you have the items that
I need to make what I need?" He said coldly.
Out of the darkness,
Ami came rushing out at Selleck.
"You will address him in a formal manner!"
She yelled at him.
Then like a sudden change had come over Ami.
She smiled coldly at Selleck
"He is Kotelinie, a Starfleet Vice Admiral.
You know of Starfleet, don't you?"
Selleck looked at her, his eyes revealing nothing.
Yet Ami smiled pleased, she looked at Kotie
and laid down a strange looking speakercom badge.
She then folded her arms and stared at Selleck.

Kotelinie
He looked back at Selleck, then to Tasani
who spoke for him. He swallowed his piece
of pancake “Your very welcome.”
He replied to her listening to her for
what she said “And thank you for the
compliment of my cooking skills on
pancakes, and if you want it I can
teach it to you how to make it, that
you can make it also.” he smiled to her
and was wondering what for kind of
food that then is, that it tastes like cold metal,
but he didn’t want to go into it, just
let them enjoy from this delicious food.
Seeing in a corner of his eye that Selleck
took the syrup, and that Koji retracted
his hand directly and hide behind him,
he placed back his tail around his
shoulder to let him feel safe.
Listening to the question Selleck had and
wanted to answer it, came Ami rushing
towards Selleck and yelled to him.
Kotie was stunned and looked to her with a
questioning face and listened to her for
what she said more. He nodded to her
that she is correct for what she said about
his rank and that he is from Starfleet and
the United Federation of Planets.
When she was done he asked her
“Are you okay Ami?”
Kotie looked at the speakercom
that she laid down, and recognised
it that it is the combadge he wears.
It’s a silver arrowhead design.
The arrowhead is backed by a gold
housing in an angular-backed shape.
Among many uses, communicators
serve as locator IDs for gaining a transporter
lock on personnel. And its worn on the
left breast, activated by touch or voice.

Turras
Selleck saw the badge also, and he
quickly grabbed it and stuck it in his pocket.
He then continued to eat not saying a word.
Tasani, who watched her brother,
smiled and motioned towards the pocket.
"He keeps it, because it reminds him
of a time before," She said.
"He once worked for a space company.
He was never really of them, they didn't
like him, especially after he did something
they considered suicide, and walked out unharmed."

Kotelinie
Seeing that Selleck quickly grabbed the badge and putted into his pocket, and continued eating, like there is nothing happened. Kotie wanted to say something about it, but Tasani explained it. Listening intensely to her as he eats an pancake with apple and syrup on it.
When she is finished, he is curious about the what for company it is, and what happened to him so he says to Tasani and Selleck, “I am curious about the name of the space company and what happened to him, that others are saying that what he did is suicide, but he survived it.”

Thinking a bit over the machine that he wants to build and if he has the materials for it. He have allot of tools for maintaining his Runabout ship, this ship is parked on a reinforced floor, walls and roof. The room is only accessible by a card and correct code. Those cards has Turras, Tigeras and Kotie himself, the codes they have also to get to the Runabout. “I shall give you the materials you need as soon as possible, when you give me a list of it, then I can get them. You may use my work room to build it, and I have there the tools for it.”

Turras
Selleck narrowed his eyes, as he realized that the time was different from his time. He smiled and looked at Kotie.
"The name of the space company was Starfleet. Quite a company to work for."

Kotelinie
Seeing him smiling, what was seldom to see him like that. When he said the name of the company, and that is Starfleet where for he is also working as an Vice Admiral, he would have know then some information about the two persons, who now are sitting here eating pancakes. “Yes indeed it’s a huge organisation, that Starfleet.” He said. Kotie pulled a chair from, against the table and went to sit down on it. He wanted to know more about this, incident and if he can fix it.
“So, Selleck, what you are telling me.. is that you are fired from Starfleet?, then I had know it, as an Starfleet Vice Admiral.” Thinking carefully for what he says, to not make it worse he asks, “Can you tell me then what precisely happened and also when it happened?”

Turras
Tasani started giggling and she quickly slapped her hands over her mouth. Selleck looked at her, then back at Kotie. The smile had faded a little, but it was still there. "A Vice Admiral?" He questioned. He tilted his head to the side a bit, and stared at Kotie. "You don't look like one."

Kotelinie
Looking also to Tasani as she giggled before she slapped her hands over he mouth. Turning back to face Selleck, listening to what he said. And replied “That is correct, I am.” Thinking on how he can say it the best way for it, for that he is not looking like one. ”Well… that is a long story, but to make it short…” he started to explain it

”As you already saw me I am half Feline and half Human, don’t ask how, that something that I can’t explain. I have been raised in two fronts, that of the Feline side and later in that of the Human side. Later I went to the Starfleet Academy from 1990 till 1995, learning and studying for it. When I was graduated for it, I have done some other things, and three years later (1997) I was assigned to the Federation starship, U.S.S. Surrender. After and attack from the Maquis I was promoted to lieutenant commander and first officer of the same ship.
Two years later (1999) I was promoted to Captain and got the U.S.S. Snowdevil under my command for doing a really good job on the U.S.S. Surrender. Five years later (2004) I was transferred to the U.S.S Enterprise NCC-1701-E and later that year on August the ninth I was promoted to Vice Admiral and still having the command on the Enterprise, but I do that when it is necessarily, to take over the command. I am here now, to be with my Sister Tigeras and her husband, Turras. But also to protect them from harm. I am then not always wearing my uniform, I do to that only when I am on duty and flying my vessel. But I always wear the combadge and my rank.” As he spoke over the combadge, he pointed to his left breast where he has it, and as he spoke over his rank he pointed to his collar border on the right side.

A male voice came from the ceiling rafters, as a orange striped tail curled down. "I would not allow Selleck to make that time device," An older Koji told his uncle.
The young Koji spotted the tail and ran under it. He then tried to grab it by hopping and leaping.
Selleck looked at the unwanted vistor and frowned.

Kotelinie
As he heard the male voice from somewhere above, he looked around, spotted a rafter where a orange tail curled down and looked up to see our friend Koji the time traveller. When he appeared 5 years ago and couldn’t answer the question, that his dad asked. Now he told to him that he wouldn’t allow his unlce to build an time machine.
Turning to Selleck, as the younger Koji ran to the tail and tried to catch it, “So Selleck, is that true, that you want to build a time machine? And for what purpose then?” Kotie said with determination in his voice to get an answer from him.
Looking at how the younger Koji was busy for trying to grab the tail and chuckled. But then remembered also a code for time travelling and walked to the younger Koji and placed and hand on his shoulder. “Koji, I wouldn’t touch the tail as I was you, because…. “ He looked to he older Koji and looked at him with a pleading look to help him out.

The older Koji lifted his tail out of the boy's reach and curled it around his body. He smiled at his uncle, giving the look that everything was okay.
Selleck on the other hand, glared angrily at Koji. He looked at Kotie, "I only need it to get back to my time."
"Right," The older Koji said, his wiskers twitching. "You plan on connecting with the others."
"Saveet interloper," Selleck said. "What I do has no concern of your kind."

Kotelinie
Looking at him as he removed his tail out of reach from the younger Koji and give him a wink with his eye in thank. Listening and watching then the conversation between Selleck and the older Koji, thinking about it. he said then.
“Selleck, I don’t know what you want to, when you are back in your own time. But time travelling is dangerous. Starfleet made also rules for it, so that if an starship and or crew members travel through time, that we make sure that our presence there is minimal, and don’t tell anyone what the future likes.” He said, letting his wiskers twisting also then continued, but his friendly voice was a bit gone “Selleck, I am sorry but I don’t allow you to make a time machine, to go back to your own time and telling everyone for what you have seen here and going to take advantage of it. I can’t allow you that!” he said with a stern voice. “I can’t let you do this! I’m sorry.”

He looked then at the older Koji and said to him “Thanks for the warning Bone Tiger, and now I understand your presence here, but what do you mean with the others and what is Saveet interloper?”
Then he looked at the younger Koji. “Koji I think you can better go to you room and play some with your toys. This is something for what you don’t understand, but I shall explain that on later time, okay?” said Uncle Kotie to him in a soft and kind voice.”

Turras
Lil Koji smiled, nodded and ran off to his room. The feline in the rafters dropped down to the floor and closed the door. He then looked at Kotie and Selleck, his tail slowly moving back and forth.
Selleck frowned and Tasani stood up. "We need that to get back to own own time-"
"And to release about hundreds of Kamador into this time," Koji said, interrupting her. "You know the agreement and I know your laws. Both forbids that."

Kotelinie
Seeing the smaller Koji running off to his room and the older Koji who is called Bone Tiger, when the younger Koji is around. The reason for why we call him that, is because he slide 5 years ago to here by accident, or wasn’t it an accident at all, but all planned??? When he arrived there was no other Koji so we could call him that, but soon after the birth of Koji, we couldn’t really call the older one that and had to give him an alias and that became Bone Tiger.

Seeing him closing the door after Koji and looking to Kotie and Selleck, Kotie saw his tail moving slowly back and forth, while Kotie kept his tail almost steady only his tail tip twitched. Listening to what they all said and thinking of a solution. Then he said.” I understand that, that you need to go back to your own time. But making a time machine and taking it with you is out of the question. I can not allow that.”
He looked then at Koji and asked him, “Koji, it seems to be that you know them better then I, are they from the same time as where you came from?. And I agree with that. That time travel forbids it. In fact you aren’t allowed to time travel at all.”
Turning to Selleck and Tasani “Can you please tell me how the heck you came here? Because I think there is something more going on then only a simple time travel incident. If you wonder why I think this is, because when you two arrived here, my sister and her husband disappeared without a trace.”

Turras
Selleck didn't answer and stared challengingly at The Bone Tiger. Koji merely looked back, and nodded. "They can get back to their own time," Koji said. "But they need to bring back mother and father before they go."
Tasani started chewing on her nail, not really paying attention, while Selleck slowly looked at Kotie.

Kotelinie
Looking at them all in silence, Nodding in response to Koji “Yes, they can but then how? They can’t build a time machine, in the case there are hundreds of Kamadors waiting to rush into here. And on this moment I don’t have the power to stop them.” Kotie said, wondering how Koji knew that they are responsible for it, while Kotie was only thinking about it but not asked it them.
Looking to Tasani, seeing that she is chewing on her nail, like if she is not really following this talk. Turning to Selleck, he asked to him, “Is that True Selleck, that you and Tasani are responsible for it? for the disappearing of Turras and Tigeras? Answer that, please.” Kotie now was getting a bit impatient of it, but still calm.

Tasani nodded hesitantly, while Selleck continued to stare at Koji

Kotelinie
Staring at them both and getting a non spoken answer from Tasani. “Okay…” he nodded and got one answer out of the two. He knows now who is responsible for there disappearing and that they are not in this time line but in a other one. “So any idea in what year they are now, because I am going to attempt to get them back to our time, but not by building a time machine to get to there for where they are.”

Selleck looked at Kotie, and grabbed him.
"I get get them back," He said. "But then you'll be sentencing us to our deaths."

Kotelinie
Looking at Selleck and backed a bit off from him when he wanted to grab him but that was too late and he was grabbed by him. That grabbing is something what Kotie don’t like but he don’t want also to come over to him as aggressive. Sometimes he must come over as aggressive and to make his stand for things.
Listening to what Selleck had to say to him, nodding in understanding to him. “Hey Selleck!” He said on a bit stronger voice “easy… you don’t have to be so harsh directly to me, you don’t even know my whole plan. But what do you mean with that for the sentencing to deaths?”

Selleck frowned and Koji raised an eyebrow.
Selleck sat back down and Tasani spoke up.
"If we go back, we'll be killed for breaking a law," She said. "I don't want to die."

Kotelinie
As he was released from the grasp of Selleck and saw that Selleck and Koji were surprised of it that Kotie didn’t know nothing about a war that has was fought in the near future and after that there where made laws. As he was still in his own Time, and not that of in the Future.. and knowing too much about that of the future he can make it total other out come.

Replying to Tasani “While you are with my in your own time, I am not letting you and Selleck die.” He said and felt sad for them. “What for law have you then broken then, if I may ask?”
He walked to the counter and filled a boiler with water and turned it on to make some coffee and or tea for them as the don’t like the coffee.

“Tasani, Selleck and Bone Tiger. As you know all come from the future and also knowing the code of not telling it to me so that I can change it. I want to know from you if you ever had heard of a Defiant class starship. If so what do you know about it?”

As the water started to boil after a few minutes he asked to them as last “anyone wanting a cup of coffee or tea?”

Tasani smiled slightly, "I would like some."

Ami rolled her eyes, as Koji also requested for some tea, and she looked at him. "Tell your uncle, what you're actually here for."

"Alright," Koji answered, seemingly a bit surprised. "In my time I heard of a boy that-"

"You can't tell him!" Selleck interrupted.

"I will," The Bone Tiger responded, unaffected by the sudden outburst. Uncle this boy has the pow-"

"Shut up!" Selleck yelled. Ami whirled around to see that the boy's eyes were shining with a white light.

"No," The Bone Tiger said flatly, and dangerously. "It won't harm you for him to know. He's different from the others of Starfleet."

Selleck calmed and the light vanished, "Ok then."

"Uncle," Koji said turning back to his uncle. "In his time the Q wanted to gift Humanity with a precious item that they hoped that Humans would value. They had a newborn Q, their rare infants, placed with a human family. The idea was for the child to grow as a human, to better understand the Humans. It was all someones idea, dunno who, but I think that you do. But Uncle, Selleck is a very young Q."

Hearing that two wanted tea, he decided to make a whole can of it. So he took a can, placed a tea sack in it, took the boiler and poured the hot water in the can and closed it. While he listened to the arguing, rather than just answering his question.

The tension rose fast, as Selleck didn’t want that anyone would say a word about their origin. What Bone Tiger said, that Kotie is different from all the others in Starfleet, and that is true. He wouldn’t warn Starfleet directly, unless it is very urgent and too far away to be there on time.

It seemed that Ami knew it also, except himself and younger Koji. Did Bone Tiger, told it to Ami? Or did she found it out, when he slipped his mouth? Anyhow, he shall ask that on a later time and in private with Bone Tiger.

The tea was by now ready, he took out a few mugs from the cabinet, placed it on the counter, poured the tea in it and gave it to Tasani with the words “Here you go. Got anything in it?” He gave also a mug to Koji and said “Here you go.”

Kotie had just finished his mug of tea and turned around, leaning with his back against the counter listening and looking at the teller, drinking slowly from the tea.

Hearing the name of Q passing by, his ears perked up and couldn’t believe it up. A Q, here? He looked at Selleck, who just looks like a normal boy, but now with Q powers. So the white light he saw was not more than the appearance of Q Selleck. And trade places with Turras and Tasani with Tigeras?
Kotie recalled the captain’s log and the story from Voyager, where Q dropped his son, to let him learn some self-discipline. (see ‘Q2’ episode, Voyager) Selleck, looks like qua age the same as Q’s son. But it can’t be the same one, as is it allot of years in the future.

The Admiral knows only a few persons, who have encountered the Q species, and then one Q especially… Perhaps that the time was right for Humanity, to have an a Q among them? And was there then also an adult Q to watch over it? To restore the chaos?

After a bit of thinking, the Admiral spoke “Yes, Koji. I think I know whose idea it was. Q!” He nodded in understanding. Asking calm and friendly “So Selleck, what do you have learned from the Human society so far?”

Kotie had more questions, but didn’t want to put pressure on Selleck to make him anger. Making a Q angry is not a good thing, so one question at a time.

Selleck frowned and stared at Kotie for a moment before answering. "I've learned that Humans are stupid," Selleck said. "And that Starfleet is bossy."

Koji grinned at that comment, finding it amusing.

"Hmm.." answered the Admiral and took a drink from his tea, while hearing the answers without further explanation. For a brief moment he saw the grinning Bonetiger, wondering what so funny is about it.

Finding it intriguing of how Selleck looks at the Humans and the Starfleet, Kotie asks the next question.

"In what way are they stupid? Care to explain that to me?" Self he could say something about the Q race, but kept that for later, or only to himself. “Well… Starfleet is no playground, and I speak then from self experience. It is hard work, hard and long hours of training, rules to follow. Its just like school. If you think to graduate there easily to join a crew on a ship, you're wrong. Not everyone is cut out for it. So explain the word ‘bossy’ to me.”

The answers on that, could help him for making a better judgment.

"They think that they know more," Selleck answered. "Yet they act like children themselves, alot. Even the Klingons are smarted then them, it seems like. And I do mean bossy, as they were always telling me what I couldn't do. I'm not an idiot. I do know what is right and what is wrong! I know what rules are. It's like they are afraid."

Sellck looked down at the ground then, and frowned. "I broke a law, in my time," He admitted. "I had disobeyed a commanding officer, who told me to let Tasania onto the shuttle. He didn't know that there was a borg ship nearby, and after it took off, I transported her back onto the ship and that officer saw the shuttle get caught. And I got blamed. So I came here."

"Well," Koji said. "When you did, you traded places with two others. Two, that belong here."

Selleck looked suprised, "I did?"

Kotie nodded ‘yes’ as an answer on the question. “Yes, when you and Tasania arrived here, those two vanished. I am starting to think that you traded places with them. Their names? Turras and Tigeras. Heard of them?”

The explanation Selleck told, comparing the Humans with Klingons, for who is smarter, seemed not right, maybe it is true, maybe not.

He saw that he had regret of his action for breaking a law, but to save someone’s life. It must be done then. He shook his head for that his captain blamed him for that Borg Cube, that is so wrong…

“Now back to your explanation, you know that the Klingons are a warrior race, they like to fight, for setting things straight. While the humans try to solve it diplomatically. Fighting only as a last resort. As a Q you have still to learn, it’s not that they are afraid, its sooner protecting you, for doing things recklessly. If you have an idea, explain that to your superior, if he agrees with it, then you can execute it. Not the other way around.”

“As for that Borg ship, did you told him, for that it was nearby? Blaming you for that is so wrong. If I got the chance to sort it out with him, I will do that, as you saved someone. A shuttle can be easily replaced, a live not, you did the right thing.”

The Admiral then looked at Tasani as got everything from him to make a judgment and asked “Why did you came with him?”

A white flash happened again, and this time Q himself was standing there. "Oh plu-lees," He said. "Enought with the talking. You guys are starting to bore me. Selleck, you can't just use you powers at any time. The Continuim is watching you and judging your maturity. How many times have I told you?"

"Many times," Selleck said, rolling his eyes.

"You could have at least moved the Ship away from the Borg," Q said. "I always have to clean up your messes. "

"Sorry..."

"As punishment," Q declared. "Tasania will have to go back to her time, and she will be safe. But you have to stay here. In this time. Also you will be without your powers agian for another year. During that year I want you to think about this!"

Q turned to Tasania and sighed, "There was two that you both replaced. It looks as if only one of the missing people can return."

Bone Tiger stood up and pinched Q with a claw. The man seemed to just notice that he was there. "I'll take Selleck's place, to return with Tasania," The feline volunteered. "That way both of the people that went missing can return. Besides I belong in that time anyway."

"So be it," Q said, sounding bored. "Say your goodbyes"

"Bye, Selleck," Tasania said, waving.

"See you in the future, Sq," The Bone Tiger called out before they vanished.

When the white flash faded, Q was also gone and Turras and Tigerass were back. Selleck, looked at a minion and pointed at the creature. Nothing happened and the boy sighed. He knew that he lost his powers for a year, and he pouted, as he looked at Kotie.

hmm.. I don't think that Q would easily do that, letting someone else taking his place so that both persons can return in one step.

Also no notice of me and that i can respond to it.

I think you have rushed it a bit too fast to end this. Maybe that it is me also for stalling it, by slowing the pace down as i want to get some facts as char. You can see this as a meeting.

When Bone Tiger returns with Q to his own time, you can mention by Q saying that there are 5 years past, so he has a 5 year gap.


Self not yet having a line on paper, worked on the other rp first. Going to do that tomorrow i think, now time for bed. Local time 0:58 am, wednesday 28-07-2010

This whole RP is going to be slighty rebuild, for all that the ending wasn't quite right. Self I found also errors that I made in the sense of the timeline (Giving real dates, in stead of ficional ones).
